Work in Thailand
A long-term commitment to people, relationships, and community.
Strategic Ministry Focus
Built through presence, shaped by purpose
This work is not built on programmes or short-term activity, but on long-term presence. It is shaped through relationships, consistency, and a commitment to walk alongside communities over time.
Preaching and Teaching that Cultivates a Fresh Openness to the Holy Spirit
I desire to help usher in a renewed awareness of the Holy Spirit and His empowering presence. This includes altar ministry where lives can be transformed, teaching on the Baptism in the Holy Spirit, including speaking in tongues, and ministry for those seeking freedom from spiritual oppression. This reality remains deeply significant in Thai culture.
Providing Systematic Theology Teaching on Foundational Doctrines
There is a real need for clear, accessible, and biblically grounded teaching on foundational truths such as the doctrine of God, Christ, the Holy Spirit, and Angels and Demons. Addressed systematically, these themes can help strengthen believers, ground leaders, and bring greater theological depth and confidence to the life of the Church as it grows in an animistic culture.
Round-table Dialogue with Church Leaders
A key opportunity in many Thai churches is to strengthen discipleship that is both biblically robust and culturally rooted in the Thai context. I will facilitate meaningful conversations with pastors and leaders around discipleship, mentoring, and the raising up of a new generation of healthy, Spirit-filled leaders.
Translating Resources for the Thai Church
Part of this ministry also includes making sound teaching resources more accessible to Thai believers and leaders. My book "Unseen" is currently being translated into Thai. It is expected to be available later this year, with other resources also having the potential to strengthen the Church more widely.
Connecting Young People and Pastors through Mission Exposure
I would create meaningful opportunities for young people and pastors to connect with Thailand through mission teams and ministry exposure. For younger people especially, a “taste and touch” mission experience could have an enormous long-term impact. Pastors too can gain a fresh perspective on Thailand, discerning more clearly the needs, challenges, and emerging opportunities for ministry.
Supporting and Encouraging ACCI Field Workers
As a senior leader, I would work under the existing mission leadership to support and encourage our ACCI field workers, strengthening the wider mission effort through relationship, experience, and ongoing encouragement.

The Heart Behind the Work
Tom & Denise
This work is led by Tom and his wife, who have committed themselves to long-term presence in Thailand. Their approach is not built on short-term activity, but on relationships, trust, and faithfulness over time.
Through everyday moments — conversations, support, and shared life — they continue to build connections that form the foundation of this work.
What has already been achieved
Since Thailand reopened after Covid, I have returned almost twice a year. Each visit has only deepened my sense that the door is opening wider. My missionary friends regularly ask when I am coming back. They have seen the strong response in altar calls, the number of people coming to Christ, and many being baptised in the Holy Spirit.
They have watched the ease with which I connect with Thai pastors and leaders, and the way I minister to Thai believers through counselling and pastoral care. Again and again, they have seen the Lord opening further doors of effective service for me.
